Alex is a Part II Architectural Assistant who has completed his bachelor’s and Masters of Architecture degrees at the University of Sheffield.

He joined Calderpeel Architects as a Part One Architectural Assistant in 2019 before returning to the practice in 2022. His final year thesis project investigated self-sufficiency and dependency on the Isle of Man through the design of high-rise timber towers in a complex maritime climate.
Alex is an enthusiastic and talented designer who is keen to engage with clients and their projects.

He brings a wealth of talent to the practice and understands that architecture is about people, not buildings. With a keen interest in sustainability his skills are valued across the business. He loves a good gossip too.
