Information
The building form and materiality is a considered response to the site and its immediate locale.  Elements of cladding are concentrated and ‘wrapped-around’ the corner to bring attention to this as a landmark and make a visual link between the two street scenes, marking the corner.
There is a level drop along Dean Close from the pavement to the building, allowing the three-storey element not to be read as such from the street level and the adjacent housing.
